In this clip from this week’s Real Time, host Bill Maher defends President Obama’s great economic record while destroying Ted Cruz’s carefully orchestrated hysteria and lies about it. — the same hysteria and lies that, incidentally, made a little girl cry when the Republican Senator told her that, because of Pres. Obama’s economic policies, her “world is on fire!”

Kudos to Bill Maher for putting Ted Cruz and the rest of the Republican liars in their place. While Pres. Obama has successfully steered us away from the Bush Recession, Republicans continue to go around claiming that his policies are hurting the economy — completely ignoring the fact that Pres. Obama inherited an economy that was losing 800,000 jobs per month and in free fall.

Maher ended his rant by rightfully asking, “At what point do Republicans look foolish for being on the talking point page that no longer fits?”
