In this clip, a young Baltimore protester gets in the face of FOX News’s Geraldo Rivera and puts him in his place for smearing the protesters with smeared coverage from his right-wing “news” organization. Away from the comforting glow of the spotlight, Rivera tries at first to ignore the passionate young man, who won’t let him get away. He confronts him, and tells him point-blank:

“I want you and FOX News to get out of Baltimore City. Because you aren’t here to report on the boarded up homes and the homeless people under MLK. You’re not reporting about the poverty up and down North Ave. Two years ago when we had the Three Hundred Man March, we marched to Milton & North [Ave], but you weren’t here! You’re here for the black riots. You’re not here for the death of Freddie Gray! FOX News don’t give a DAMN about black people!”

And he’s absolutely right. FOX News and the conservative media only care about fear-mongering and race-baiting, deepening the divide between white and black in America and justifying the right’s efforts to discriminate against minorities.
