In this hilarious clip, Jon Stewart decries both the violence perpetrated in Texas against an offensive cartoon contest and the intolerance that inspired the event in the first place. “It is not okay to shoot other people because you are offended by what they draw. Even if they drew it to offend you, no shooting of them. Never okay!” rails Stewart.

He then ridicules the conspiracy theories surrounding the possibility of ISIS bases in Texas and the “Texas takeover” by the Jade Helm 15 military exercise, poking at the “Lone Star Lunatics”. “Nobody told them the federal government already controls Texas! Since like, 1840! You know what, just borrow a textbook from a neighboring state, its all in there!” adds Stewart.

It takes a man with the comedic genius of Stewart to make an already amusing story really shine.
